Jeannie and Mark’s engagement session was adorable from beginning to end. They splashed around in the ocean and got silly in the waves. Their sweetie Tucker even joined us on their boat. What a well behaved pup and so handsome too!

Katie & Andrew’s wedding was held at Southers Marsh Golf Club. It’s a really beautiful venue overlooking a Cranberry bog in Plymouth. During the wedding reception it started to rain but we still went out and took photos which came out beautiful.

Julianne and Jason wanted to take some romantic photos by the water in Plymouth. I remember going to this beach when I was little. It was nice to go back there and get some great images of the two of them.

I’m very excited to announce that Heidi Finn Photography has a new logo and website!!! I also have all new sample albums that are to die for! I’m so excited to show them off and clients have been going crazy over them.
Last week I was at the Boston Bridal Bash at the Sheraton Copley Hotel. My table was a big hit thanks to Ryan delivering our two antique farm tables! I passed out homemade lemon crinkle cookies and vegetable seed packets with my new logo on them. I would like to give a special thanks to Greenlion Weddings who made me a bunch of pretty bouquets and let me use her vintage boxes. They were a perfect addition to my new look. xo

I loved this Decordova Museum wedding! My favorite detail was the huge neon mural in the reception. Bunker Hill Florist did an amazing job on the flowers. They kept it simple with white flowers in tall elegant vases. I love anything that’s black and white with a pop of color! Very cool.

3.11.13 WINTER WEDDING | SEAPORT HOTEL BOSTON
The day started off with getting ready shots of the girls. Demiche beaute applied their make up while they giggled and blushed talking about how exciting it is that Cheryl’s marrying Brian! We decided that it would be best to do a first look prior to the ceremony. We set up the formals right outside at the garden and then headed to the World Trade Center for some fun bridal party shots. Their ceremony was held in the Winter Garden which was decorated with pretty lights and a Christmas tree. Post ceremony we took some cool Boston city shots. As soon as you walked into the reception you noticed the beautiful centerpieces by flou(-e)r and their perfect winter wedding cake by The Icing On The Cake. The night was filled with sweet speeches, dancing and amazing cocktails! The best part of the night was watching Brian show off his singing skills with the band Nightshift!
I should mention that Cheryl is a very close and dear friend to me. Cheryl & Brian… I love you guys!

WINTER WEDDING | PROVIDENCE RENAISSANCE HOTEL
Christine and Tony had a beautiful winter wedding at the Renaissance Hotel in Providence. I loved their beautiful flowers by Studio 539 Flowers. The colors really popped against their pretty navy dresses. We decided to take their bridal party shots at the State House before their cocktail hour at Temple – which is a cool bar that has a lot of ambiance. Their reception was a lot of fun – DJ Graeme Ritchie had people dancing the whole night! Here are a couple of my favorite images from their wedding.

WEDDING REHEARSAL AT THE GARDNER MUSEUM | BOSTON WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Kyle and Liam had me photographer their wedding rehearsal at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
The Gardner doesn’t allow flash photography, which naturally presents challenges when photographing indoors. Thankfully, my camera does an amazing job in low lighting situations and I was able to grab wonderful shots of guests mingling around the artwork. It was the perfect location to have an intimate party and I had a wonderful time shooting it. Truly an amazing experience.
